I’m a San Diego girl who’s new to Pittsburgh. I’m currently working as a freelance journalist, blogger and (un) official pierogi taste tester. My background includes a BA in Journalism from San Diego State University (go Aztecs!) and an AA in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles (go Project Runway!).
I’m also a public radio junkie with experience working at the award-winning San Diego NPR-affiliate station KPBS, as well as AOL News’ community news site Patch and currently cover local government for the Valley News Dispatch.
